Plugging the USB-stick to your computers ethernet port does not give you any kind of rights to complain why the heck the damn thing is not visible or automatically run in the OS. Now I just need those docs from the stick! Maybe it’s just one of those Monday mornings? Or blame it on the computer…

But since the damn thing is not accessible via the ethernet port, why was I looking for the reason first from the OS side? Was the autorun disabled for this device or what the heck had been changed since I’ve last used the stick? Clearly, the width of both the USB and the ethernet ports are of the same amount.

What happens during the first cup of coffee on Monday mornings, are not counted.
