Sometimes you don’t need all your possible photogear to build a decent setup for a photo. Especially when the subject can fit on your palm that is.

I needed to shoot a certain rubber duck for a customer project. It turned out to be a good rehersal for a quick setup, using the household items only. Lighting excluded from this ofcourse. So there’s some white blank A4-paper to reflect the main light. Lego Duplo’s were built to support both sides and the backdrop, which is also an A4, is clamped into a plastic toy too. A wooden building block was use to lift the subject from the surface.
Now I need to turn this fella to a 3D-character…
